Ah, January, a month of milestones and parties. This year, Kate turned 5 and Michael turned 10. It's hard to believe: she's the age he was when she was born and he's double digits... They both had fun parties.

Marc has been very busy with work and the kids are doing well in school. The semester ended at the end of the month. Great marks for the boys; only praise from the parents :)

Jan 2: we walked 1 mile east to catch the end of the parade. The poor members of all the bands were so hot and tired
after their 5 mile trek on this warm day. We enjoyed cheering right as they finished.
